We held a fabulous Safari Lunch on Sunday 2nd June. This was the second time we’d held this event, the last time being in 2018. This time we had nine wonderful local hosts in and around the village; each host house welcomed a small group for a starter. The attendees were then handed letters which revealed which host they were to move to for their main course. Then later that afternoon, we all met up in the stunning setting of the Tithe Barn to enjoy a tremendous selection of desserts, tea and coffee. The Friends team would like to thank all of the hosts and attendees who helped to make this such a fun event; and of course, we were able to raise further funds to help carry out repairs and renovations to St Mary’s.
